Round and round the mulberry bush

I noticed that Annis
DANKS mentioned in the snip was from Menzies on the goldfields of WA. If she is Joseph and Clara's daughter perhaps Joseph was a miner and moved to WA when gold was discovered in 1894.
Frederick Thomas
MARGETTS was a barman at Menzies on the 1906 and later electoral rolls. His wife was shown an Annie on the electoral rolls to 1931.
Many of the
DANKS in WA on the indexes appear to be descendants of John
DANKS and Ellen
KELLEHER however I noticed the birth of a Clara in 1906 in the district of North Coolgardie. Unfortunately post 1905 births in WA do not details parents.
I wonder how often Annis was transcribed as Annie.
