My ggg grandfather William Hughes was born c1815 in Cheetwood Lancs.
He married Sarah Johnson (b.Chapel En Le Frith c1815) at the Parish Church of Taxall on 11th December 1836.
I would like to find out who William's parents were and any information about them?
They had a son Edward b.1837 in Ardwick Manchester (Chapel Street) and he was christened at St.Thomas's Ardwick 15 October 1837.
Regards,
Yozzer

Thanks for your replies, however, any suggestions as how i may find William's parents?
A possibility is Joseph Hughes who married Ellen Lyon at Manchester Cathedral
on 27 August 1810 but i can't be sure if these are William's parents.
