You can obtain access through FindMyPast by buying credits and actually view the register. You don't have to take out a full subscription.

Try Devon Family History Soc they have a very good forum and the people are very helpfull,
the forum is free.
I found many ancestyors in Devon and it did not cost a lot for printouts of records.

DFHS has not yet indexed PSA records pre-1813.

Hi,

The info you wanted is as follows (transcribed as seen):

Baptisms in Pt of Janry 1809
3 Janry
Willm son of Lieu. David Collins Carpenter & Susanna his wife said to be born 10 April 1806
Willoughby Charles, son of Lieut. David Collins Carpenter & Susa his wife, said to be born 4 July 1808.

I have included the full record which appears to give two baptisms, but I thought this might be useful for you.

Regards,
Liz

Thanks Liz, looks like two sons, William & Willoughby Charles.
Willoughby Charles died in Cheselbourne at early age of 21, a ggg uncle of mine.
Thanks to all for the help.
