According to his marriage James was living at 14 Raglan street & Mary McDill address was Vulcan street. There army records for a James Rainey in the Royal Scotts Fusiliers giving his mother a Mary Rainey address Raglan street.

1901 his father's deceased and his mother remarried a Edward Graham, this is them in the 1901 census 14 Raglan street

Thanks for the info.I'm going to show My Dad.Vulcan St is also mentioned by My Aunties. My Dad did still have contact with his Grandad up to a certain age.His Granddad died in a Hostel. It seems that there was a disagreement when My Father's Father died between the Families hence not much knowledge of the Rainey side.I presume the Urban 11 is St Matthew's?It's looking interesting.

Hi Lib58 - I saw you post on another genealogy site and replied but not sure you saw it so trying here.

I'm Paddy Lundy's (deceased)'s grandson - from Lowry St. Married to Susan McCartan, also deceased.

I have pictures of I think Raineys at my granny's wedding in the 1930s, according to my mum.

You probably know as much or more than me at this stage about the Lundy genealogy, but I am slowly unpicking it and back to County Down in the 1870s, so let me know if you want me to share any hints.

All the best!

Hi Lib,

I'm not sure I can yet - I might need to up my post count before I can. I have a few queries about other branches of the family so I'll post here and there.

In between time, you might wish to try me.

I've tried to attach the picture of my grandmother Susan's wedding party. Mags, her sister, is in the middle. I think my mum said there are also Halfpennys, and Rose Dignam (behind Mags), and supposedly a Rainey or two on the right hand side? I'd need to ask her again.

Do try my PM - great to make contact.

All the best,

Karl
