Mary Beechey c1800. Harwell or Clanfield, Oxon.
« on: Wednesday 23 May 12 00:20 BST (UK) »
Hi folks.

Looking for a baptism for Mary Beechey c1800 in Harwell or Clanfield.  She married William Johnson in 1823 @ St.Mary's, Aylesbury, Bucks.  Died/buried Jan 1870, Aylesbury.

One of the the witnesses was James Beechey at the marriage.    There is a possible parents marriage for James Beechy to Elizabeth Hitchcock in Bampton in 1780.   Or Thomas Beachy & Mary Sellar, married 1789 Marston, Oxon. (OxFHS - Marriage Index).

Apologies for the run around, but the census places of births, are a bit obscure. ???

In 1851 she is born Elenfield, in 1861 it's Claynich.   :o

Thanks.

Steve. :)

Thanks Kimbrey.  That would make her parents John Beechey(of Forest Hill) and Sarah Smith(married in Headington, 1793).

Thanks again all.

Amazingly, I have found a John Beechey, born 1777, Clanfield, and living there. :o

Thanks again. :)
