Wigg family Tunstall

Seeking any details of Wiggs in Tunstall.

Forebear was Mary Smith who married a Richard Wigg.

They had a daughter Mary born 1817 who married Henry Spencer Birmingham 1849.

Hyjean, Henry Spencer married Mary Wigg. His parents were John Robey Spencer and Catherine Sandlant, both from Ashby de la Zouch. John R Spencer's parents were John Spencer and Mary Robey who married Xmas day 1789 Ashby de la Zouch. John Robey Spencer's younger brother Thomas is my direct Spencer line who also ended up in Brisbane, (Toowomba) Australia (my grandfather was born there in 1894 but came back to the UK to fight in WWI and married my grandmother whilst here!

Thanks for details on Thomas Spencer.

My husband's grandmother
was Isabelle Clare Spencer b Adelaide 1883-1972 Died West Aust.
Her father was
Oliver Henry Spencer born 1851 England immigrated Adelaide 1875. Died
Western Australia. His wife was Geraldine Morpeth of northumberland .Died West Aust 1954
 brother Thomas immigrated Brisbane
His father was Henry Spencer c 23/12/1827 Ashby De La Zouch Leic.
who married Mary Wigg (Tunstall Suffolk)
His father was John Robey Spencer who married Catherine Sandlant
His father was John Spencer c 22/1/ 1769 married Mary Roby 25/12/1789
Leicester.

Hope I have got this right. That means Thomas Spencer makes my husband's gt gt uncle.
