Hello, am looking for further information on
James Beatty born 1848 in Ireland
Mary Elizabeth Beatty nee Hewitt born 1850 Derbyshire
John WS Beatty born 1876 Ireland
Mary Kathleen Beatty born 1878 Dronfield
James H Beatty born 1881 Whittington
George F born 1884
Nora Gladys born 1887
I know that the family went to South Africa and that the sons fought in the 2nd Boer War, and also that James and Mary died there, but would appreciate any further information. Many thanks

Do you perhaps know the names of thier sons.  There are a number of Beatty's listed on www.angloboerwar.com. very informative.  You can search the site by name.

Don't know if you have this but James' Death Notice, Will and distribution accounts can be found at this link, just move through the images. It lists his parent's, wife and childrens names, place of birth and death...

This may be  your John W S Death Notice, will and distribution account for estate
