Hi folks
just wondering if there's any way to find out if my ancestors kept a family bible.

Many, if not most family Bibles have disintegrated, been lost or simply thrown out. The only thing you can do is ask your older relatives if they remember one and, if so, what happened to it.

Hi, first you need to ask the widest possible number of your family to see if anyone has one. Also family bibles sometimes appear on Ebay for sale. Its worth having a look to see if one associated with your family crops up for auction.

There are a number of sites offering to take in transcripts of the info in family Bibles - might be worth some web searching.
