Thomas Gater born Kidsgrove around 1801

trying to find out who Thomas Gater's parents were. He married Hannah Baker in 1821 and they had 10 children together. The family settled in Goldenhill and Thomas was a miner as were all his male children. anything on hannah would also be useful she was born in Goldenhill around 1803. I have photos of their gravestone and extensive research on their children but cannot locate the next generation back. Thanks for any help

Family search shows a 22 Nov 1795 christening for a Thomas Gater at Church Lawton, Cheshire which is pretty close, Son of John Gater and Ann.  Have you considered this?
