I am trying to help a lady friend with her family search. Her mother was Winnifred Iris Reader
 born Feb 28 1914 In London area I believe. She had a relationship/Marriage to a Sidney Goronwy Jones. She married Raymond Joseph Reader at Ahyno in Northamptonshire  FEB 10 1943. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

FreeBMD has a marriage of a Winifred I HALFORD in Mar qtr 1943, Brackley, 3b 1, with spouse Raymond J READER.

Brackley RD covers Aynho.

Was HALFORD her maiden name or another spouses name.

Going by the date of birth you gave in your first posting,there is't a Winifred I Halford as found by Eyesee,so it sounds like she was born something else!

Sidney Goronwy Jones may be a reference to the previous generation?
Can't see a Halford/Elliott marriage but there is on freebmd.rootsweb.com:

Sydney Goronwy Jones b. 1879 Corwen district
 m. 1904 in Leicester possibly to Annie Winifred Elliott
d. 1906 aged 26
then Annie W. Jones m. in Brentford 1913 to Ernest E. Halford

Annie Winifred Jones age 31 widow - father William Elliott

Many thanks to everyone who has helped me to unravel the Reader - Halford- Elliott -Jones family that I mentioned. Sidney Goronwy Jones died as a very young man from consumption, my lady friend is so pleased with the help ypu have given me. Both her mother and her grandmother were named Winifred [ not sure if it is two n's] but her mother is definitely 28 feb 1917 and the ELLIOTT name she remembers. So it fits together. Her mother was known as Mollie as there was confusion over Winifred. If you have further information then please let me know.
