From a listing of a 1753 Lisraw(didn't see an entry for this place under the main listing of counties for Ireland here, maybe today its known by another name, but this is what it says from the year 1753) - on a Poll Book listing for Lisraw in 1753 a James MOODY appears and it says out beside his name to the left - 615- L10 and then to the right of his name it says Lisraw (spelled just like that) and beside that is the letter "C" . (can anyone tell me what the "C" means?)
What I am trying to determine is, does anyone have any info past 1753 of a James MOODY in Lisraw? I can't seem to find him listed there anymore, OR is he the Rev. James MOODY who was in Newry, Co. Down? I am wondering if this James Moody in 1753 Lisraw, ~might~ be my 5th grt. grandfather. There seems to be no records of him in the U.S. that I can clearly determine so I am only guessing that he must have emirgrated to the U.S. sometime around c1750 and up to c1773. We have Ydna proof of a link to Moody's from Lenamore/Magilligan and from Ballymoney, Co. Antrim.
Any info regarding any James MOODY's in Lisraw, Co. Armagh, No. Ireland after 1753 would be Greatly appreciated. Thank You.
