I am trying to help a lady friend in her family history. Her father Raymond Joseph Reader b 1920 at West Bromwich, Staffs. Died just last week at Kettering aged 91. He served in the RAF. He married Mollie [pet name ] Halford born in London ,at Aynho in Northanamptonshire. Resided at Rushden in Northants. Any hep aprecciated .Thank you Ken

Reader, Raymond J    Mother's Maiden Name: Smith

Purchasing the Birth Certificate (unless you already have it?) will give you Raymond's parents names.
There are an awful lot of Reader's marrying a Smith, 1901-1920!!

Thank you for your reply. I have found more informo. Raymond's father was Samuel Reader. I think born 1889 in the area. Raymond's wife was Winifred Iris Reader born abt 1914 in London. Raymond had a brother Stanley died in a Raf mission over Holland. Sister's Ivy and Minnie.
