Hi

My dad was known as "taffy" while serving in Negumbo in 1951/1952. Real name Bryan Edwards.

He's going strong at 90 and is currently very excited as I'm going on holiday to Sri Lanka in November.

Potential connections always make him light up as there aren't many left

My Dad was out there around that time. As was my (later to become) uncle, sadly no longer with us.
I'll ask my Dad exact years there.

Hi, I am searching for any record of the RAF in 1952-53 era, when RAF officers may have been housed in private accommodation near Ratmalana, Greater Colombo. My grandfather built our family home around that time and the RAF were the first residents of our home, still standing. Would love to  know where to look and how to identify who may have stayed there. Thanks
