All of you are just wonderful in finding all of this information for me......Oh how i wish I could have met Amelia and Esther as well.  Gosh, I am a bit speechless, with all these family facts  and of course, I appreciate all of it.

   Margaret Howe's husband died in 2002 at age 82.  reply #23
   I can't see a death for Margaret - hopefully she is still alive.  Did you find her husband's burial? Perhaps there are others buried with him?

Hmmm here we have William Ernest Howes (2/11/1921-1/1/2006) whose next of kin was Albert Amos Howes so possibly a brother to Margaret's husband.  William was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium.

Albert died earlier (2002) so should also be on this list or perhaps only those who were submitted ..? adding or only the 230 battalion

But didn't we think that Albert's father (with same name) was killed in action in 1916?
