Thanks Trish but thats not correct Joseph Bairstow ours died in 1863 and his wife was S Widdop. The Joseph you have found out about is from Halifax and died in Huddersfield. James his son born in1843 he was married to Martha Rothery.

Sorry got a bit confused as 1851 I found a Susanna Bairstow under Ramsden.
So wrongly presumed she had remarried
