Gaz, if you make 2 more posts you will be able to send a PM to Angie, and from then on you can communicate with each other a great deal easier.

Hi Angie
Thanks for your offer to share the family tree, I'm not as yet on ancestry, as I have been digging around the internet for info first, I haven't been searching long but I will no doubt have to eventually join.I will happily share anything I find with you. Cheers Garry

Hi again Angie, on the linked Dublin thread on this particular thread you agree with the findings of the 1891 census for John/Margaret and family, the same family in 1881 looks to be:-

John O Donohue 30 occ Dock Lab b Dublin
Margaret 30
John 10
Ferdinand? 8
William 5
Mary E 2
Richard 5 months
All others born Liverpool
Residing Toxteth Park
Census ref RG11/3634/71/43
You have already been given the possibility with this family that William was born 1876 and I can confirm that of the family in both 1881/1891 that I have checked the mmn is ROSS
Possible marriage John O'Donohoe to Margaret Ross June qtr 1875 Liverpool 8b 345

In 1881 next door to family is a Widowed Mary Ross 55 b Sligo with two children.

So you both have possibly two marriages to check out, the one shown on this post, and the possible William Donough to Ellen Williams 1894 Liverpool 8b 28 ( Do not like this possibly as fathers shown as William Donough and William Williams 22nd April 1894 Liverpool)?

EDIT A John O'Donohoe occ Mariner Father Ferdinand O'Donohue occ Clerk
Margaret Ross Father John Ross occ Dock Labourer
24th June 1875 St Simon, Liverpool
