I would think that the third one was the 'correct' one and the minister or clerk had perhaps been at the sherry having made two sets of mistakes!
Maybe there were various Lambs having children around that time and the record keeper just got mixed up. Alexander could perhaps have been an older child to the same parents?
On the back of my birth certificate, where a note is written confirming my baptism, the priest started writing my father's name then scored it out and wrote mine. On my great aunt's birth certificate (albeit in the 1900s), the Registrar has made "clerical errors" in half of the columns! he must have wished he could have scored it out and started again!
