Eyre family in Dublin
« on: Wednesday 09 May 12 04:59 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I'm looking for my husband's Eyre family in Ireland.  His great-grandparents, George & Marie (Bosonnet) Eyre, lived in Dublin their whole lives.  I know that George's parents were Thomas & Lucy (Arnold) Eyre, and they were married in Dublin in 1862.  I don't know where George was born, but Lucy Arnold was born in Northern Ireland.  They were married in Dublin as well.  So, I'm not sure if they met in Northern Ireland or if Lucy met him in Dublin?  Also, this Eyre line was Protestant until George & Marie married.  Marie was Catholic, and their children were raised as Catholics, as well as the subsequent generations up to my husband's.

I am trying to go back further on the Eyre line.  I would like to find the parents of Thomas Eyre.  Can anyone shed some light on this branch?

Thanks for the help!
Sincerely,
Jamie Eyre
