charles Hassell is turning out to be a bit of a mystery  :-\
and I think is going to take a bit of luck to work out
I dont seem to be able to find a census or birth that fits with the details we already have

but there is a good possibley this is him but also may be not  :-\

1861
RG 9/1938 Folio 129 Page 20
Stoke Upon Trent
Thomas Plant   39 Head, M Potter, Penkhull, Staffordshire
Ann Plant   34 Wife M, Longton, Staffordshire
Charles Hassall   13 Son, Erand Boy, Stoke Upon Trent, Staffordshire
Ann Plant   9 Dau, Penkhull, Staffordshire
Joseph Plant   8
Emily Plant   7 Months
Ann Plant   76 Mother, W, Tibberton, Shropshire
Sarah Ransford   41

note that Thomas was a potter
Charles was a pottter on the other census
but the place of birth doesnt match
