Thanks for the response and for explaining the "shorthand"!.
Would there be any further information in the Burial Index other than what I already have - i.e. date of burial and the church? I've been to both the archives in Bristol and Gloucester and have found Thornbury Roots website invaluable, but as Vilner Farm is on the outskirts of Thornbury they have not much information about it, as they concentrate on the town itself.
I know it was once part of Thornbury Castle estate, but that's about all.
