Roots 2 roots and back again
« on: Monday 07 May 12 01:26 BST (UK) »
I began tracing my family to discover my Roots....... which is the main reason   I think we all do...........

came across loads of interesting facts, and fibs and skeletons.. and naughtly little bits..

Roots are what make us the person we are (I think?)
So I came across ROOTs chat   and you bless you have helped me with my searches, although some of my requests have been  difficult   and more than a little frustrating,  ROOTS chat wonderful people have helped for which I am so grateful...
My Roots are deeply twisted and entwined,  as they are for most. Therefore I have always only added to my tree, with definate or as near as definate proof as I can find.  b.m.d. or baptism / census etc...
I learnt this with the help of Roots chatters.  So I am totally satisfied that my little 'PAF' file is honest - good and true.
I like most couldnt wait in the early days to get back as far as I could... which I am happy with being in the 1700 's on most sides.... Maternal and Paternal   ;D

Lands end to John o'Groats  or Angus to Cornwall in my Case...

BUT recently  I decided to fill in children of earlier branches........... and have now found  living relations, that I never knew I had  lots and lots   which is great......... fantastic  as I was actually running out of close rellies  becoming almost the last  of my generation.

My lastest find,  is why my Roots are back again,

I moved to Norfolk away from the Midlands, cos I felt like living by the sea.......... ONLY to find I have 2nd cousins  living 15 miles away....

and they have lived in this area  since 1930's coming down from Scotland... cant believe it... fantastic.   ;D :D

So I do not believe we are in control ... I think there must be a reason .. why I am here with family again, when I was running out of rellies  apart from my own wonderful brood  in the Midlands.

this may not make sense cos its nearly 2. a.m. and I should be asleep... but there u go.. crazy
but

happy

xin..
