1891 census lookup surname Murray

Hi,

on the 1911 census mary is born in Liverpool, Robert her husband is not on the 1911 census. I will go and look for him on the 1901 census.
With mary is dau Lillian 24, son George E 22, son hosoa 20,son Robert 20 all born in liverpool.

Hi Tinker, You have the cert but have you seen the the entry in Church reg on-line?
That is in Latin, gives addresses, but not ages of bride and groom.

Is it possible that they came from Ireland?  I have found a John and Ann born Ireland living in Liverpool 1871, daughter Mary Ann born Gateshead.

looking at the baptisms, I was going to post this Murrey family living in Rishton in 1901:

Robert (b Preston) Mary b Felling, Durham with children Annie T, Pricilla and Robert.

Those children all have a mother Mary Ann Mcaslin.

1901 has a family, with Lillian, George and Robert amongst the children but the parents are Andrew and Mary  

I think you are probably mixing two families or certainly two Roberts.

You need to investigate your Robert more. Possibly the Robert/Mary A family stayed around Blackburn area.

Do you have the marriage for your Robert for his father?

My concern is that it is the right one for that family, but which Robert is tinker searching for?
The 1911 information given by tinker isn't the same family so there are presumably two Roberts born around the same time.
If it is Robert James with those parents then all is well.

Yes and has the birth certificate so hopefully that is the right one. As I said,  I was just concerned that it was the wrong Robert Murray born abt 1894 that was being searched and therefore the wrong birth certificate had been obtained.
