Thanks so much Wendy that would be great if you could send what you have via email.We are going to England to visit our daughter and son inlaw and await the arrival of their first baby who will be William's great great grandchild. We read the adoption papers again this morning and William was adopted at age 18 months by Thomas and Ellenor Searle in October 1896. It states on the papers that Emily is a widow at this point. I will make some copies of what I have and send them to you if you would like via email? My husband Graham remembers his Aunt Thelma, William's only daughter who died unmarried aged in her 30's and says that the picture of Annie is a spitting image of Thelma. Amazing connections.
