Hi Mike

I have just been snooping around some other family tree as I was wondering if there might be a couple of children missing seeing as they were married in 1859 and the eldest child we have so far is Ephraim born in 1859 then the next is  George born 1864. The tree I have found has a Charlotte Merrall born 8 September 1861 in Leicesteshire but they have no proof that she is their's can you see a baptism for her to prove she is George and Fanny Merrall's I haven't been able to find one yet
Also on the 1911 George has how many children he has had total children born alive 11, total still living 9, total died 2

The early 1860’s saw Leicester gripped with
“ The Great Flue Epidemic “

So any public gathering might have been banned
That could explain why there was a Double Baptism in 1864
When the epidemic was at it’s end……….
