Sorry for being late with this reply.

If you make another application and you get another refund, it would suggest that there is an error with the GRO index.

In which case send them a complaint form.

There is a box for refund queries, "if you received a refund and you believe an error has occured"

As long as your application is exactly what the the index says, and I must say you have to look at the image, not rely on a transcription, they will then investigate further.

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for your note.  I have  been given a refund for the certificate in question and have notified them of the mistake.  Seems the monthly quarter was Sept and not March and the correct one has been ordered.  Hopefully should turn up this week !
