Old photo's found in Maesteg >>
« on: Sunday 29 April 12 10:12 BST (UK) »
Hi all, very little info as I only spotted the notice in Tesco in Maesteg late last night.

Basically, someone has found a stack of photo's in the attic of an unnamed house in Maesteg that they have just moved into and handed them into the family history/research centre in the sports centre.

There is a photocopy of one with a notice in Tesco Maesteg, but it's not good enough for my camera phone to take a photo to reproduce, but it is probably good enough for someone to recognise the people. The photo shows 4 children (I think) crouching behing each other in a field. I'd suggest that it is probably somewhere between the 1940's to 1960's based on the haircuts/clothing, but can't be more specific.

If you're after more info, it says to ring the sports centre

Had a look at the photo. Shows 5 people aged approx 15-25. 3 ladies sat in front of 2 men. Ladies all dressed similarly. The tops there are wearing look a bit like dance outfits (straps of leotards maybe).
