Simmons 1861 Census.

Hello Folks,

I've been driven totally mad in my search of the 1861 census on ancestry.  I'm looking for the following family:

Stephen SIMMONS born 1829 Croydon
Ellen SIMMONS born c. 1834 Essex
Thomas SIMMONS born 1859 South Norwood.

I literally cannot find them anywhere  ??? Would really appreciate any help/advice.

Many thanks for this.  No mention of Croydon, though (but I'll look again) - slowly going cross-eyed!

I've had a look, but no success yet.

Sometimes we just have to accept that the people we're searching for managed to elude the census  ::)
