For me the old blue site was "under maintenance" for a few days, but it's back up now.

Guess you were right. The old site is back on line using the link you posted. The new site is working fine too which dispells Gillian's theory as I live in Sydney as well.

Here in Brisbane not connecting at all.. not been able to use the site for the past day or so... nor the IGI Custom Search page....

Wonder if it is an Aussie based problem with the LDS.

This is quite a mystery & a nuisance. I still can't get on to familysearch. I've tried both firefox and IE. I've tried my bookmarks and linking through google with no joy either. I've tried the typing th eaddress as well. I managed to get the old IGI maps up after a long wait but couldn't get through to familysearch from the embedded link.  >:(

Well, its certainly your end as (just to make 100% sure) I opened up the site again from the above link - no problem.
