new set of eyes
« on: Thursday 26 April 12 23:36 BST (UK) »
Hi guy,

I need a new set of eyes to help me confirm this birth and parents

Laurence Henderson Bradshaw born 1st April 1899 in Liverpool  to Peter Bradshaw and Annie Henderson Hendry is the same as the famous  Sculptor, painter, engraver, stage designer and author of the same name, if someone could check the censuses  for me.

I think you have one and the same LAwrence Henderson BRADSHAW!

This link suggests he was the son of John BRADSHAW & Annie HENDERSON b 01/04/1899 Liscard Wallasey
http://sculpture.gla.ac.uk/view/person.php?id=ann_1269000135

http://www.publicsculpturesofsussex.co.uk/object?id=103 try googling the name if you haven't done so!

Lawrence H Bradshaw
born 1899
Age at attestation 18
Regimental Number 70373  Name 106 Training Battalion Edinburgh
Army number 70373
Described as an artist : next of kin Annie H BRADSHAW

Latest info suggests 11 Dyson Street Walton Liverpool

1901 RG13 3448 53 9
17 Eleanor Road
John desc as Antique dealer and Art Dealer

I would think that Peter declared on the baptism as the father maybe incorrect or maybe John was John Peter!!!!

Hi, just stumbled across this - LHB became my stepfather. Did you find what you wanted?

Hi,

LHB's  mother was Annie Henderson Hendry and her brother was my friends great grandfather, only Annie and her brother John stayed in England, rest of the Hendry family moved to America.

Hi, Just seen this - April last year - your post - "Laurence Henderson Bradshaw born 1st April 1899 in Liverpool  to Peter Bradshaw and Annie Henderson Hendry is the same as the famous  Sculptor, painter, engraver, stage designer and author of the same name, if someone could check the censuses  for me." - Laurence Henderson Bradshaw - artist and sculptor was my stepfather.
