Thomas Patrick Nolan
« on: Thursday 26 April 12 22:42 BST (UK) »
Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

It is probably a long shot but I'm trying to find out some information about my GG Grandfather Thomas Patrick Nolan's family (Siblings and parents - as I can't seem to find any)

This is all the information I have on him.

Thomas Patrick Nolan born 1870 in Bermondsey
Married Catherine Welch (Walsh/Welsh - it changes all the time) September 16 1889
His fathers name is James Nolan but other than that I have completely hit a dead end.

Thanks ever so much in advance for any help
Craig
Bermondsey, Hines, Hien, London

As you know that his father's name is James; does that mean that you have his birth certificate?  If you haven't you could do this and find what his father's occupation was, and this may help you as regards finding him on the 1871 and 1881 censuses.  The reference is: Born in the June 1870 quarter in the St. Olave district 1d 229.
