Researching family tree for:

Florence Knott born November 1901
Arthur Knott (birthdate unknown) Husband of Florence Knott
Son - Clifford Knott (son of Arthur & Florence)
Daughter - Barbara Tunnercliff (nee Knott)
Daughter - Elsie Knott

If anyone can help please feel free to contact me.  We draw a dead end at Florence and Arthur and only know they were from the Manchester area.

Hi,

Can I ask were all their children born in Lancashire?  I can only find the children with the mothers maiden name given as Mellor, but the only marriage I can find is a Florence Mellor to a Harry Knott in 1921 :-\

Are any of these children still living?    If so, their details ought to be removed.   We can still help via personal message but we do not allow details of living people to be posted on the open boards to avoid identity theft etc.
As you know Florence's birth date presumably you can confirm her maiden name?

Do you have the birth certificates for any of the people you have mentioned?

A birth certificate of one of the children should give the mother's maden name.

If their mother was Florence Mellor, there is a birth for a Florence Mellor in Chorlton, Manchester in Oct-Nov-Dec 1901.

The marriage for Florence Mellor and Harry Knott was at St Philip's Church Gorton, Manchester in 1921.
