LYONS Emily Mary b 1923 South City Dublin

Looking for the ancestors of Emily Mary Lyons b 1923 South City Dublin. She married Trevor Griffiths 1949 Flintshire. Wales. She died 1994 Flintshire. Wales. On the marriage certificate she states her fathers name as William Lyons (General Labourer) Have no other info. as to her or her fathers lineage in Ireland.
Any info. no matter how small would be gratly appreciated.

the 1911 census data for Dublin is available on the National Archive website at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

Emily's birth should be included in the civil register, which you can search on familysearch Index at : http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=2;t=searchable;c=1408347

research certs can be ordered from the GRO using the index details - www.groireland.ie

Hi, My Great Grandfather was William Lyons from Dublin and also a Labourer. Do you know what Emily mothers name was?

This is what I have discovered so far.

Emily's mother was Mary Reilly from Strokestown. County Roscommon. William & Mary had seven children, one died at birth.

Mary died and William had a second marriage to Annie Haybyrne, they had two children.

Are we talking about the same William Lyons ?????

This is not the same Willliam Lyons. My William Lyons married Mary Moore from Dublin.

Emiily Lyons was my mother and Trevor Alun Griffiths was my father - I guess Aussie Derek has been looking for family members?
