George Ennis - Father of Peter Ennis

I am looking for information on the father (George Ennis) of Peter Ennis who married Frances Goodfellow.
George was born 1791 and his son Peter born 1828 in St Helier.  All the men in the family seemed to be
Blacksmiths, Engineers or joined the Navy or Merchant Seamen.
Thank you from the other side of the world to all the volunteers in the Channel Islands.

Thank you so much Jerseylily.  Nancy Jane Sarre is a new name that I  have not come across.  So she must have used Nancy or Ann as her name.   There seems to be a lot of Ennis men with the same name or they change them and it becomes very confusing.  I appreciate your information and input and I will try to do it justice.  Many thanks and take care.  Betty

I am researching the life of my grandfather Alfred Peter Ennis born in 1856 in the Channel Islands who was a merchant seaman.  I have in my possession all the discharge sheets he was issued when leaving the ships.  They start in 1872 and end in 1899.  The information in the previous post is, therefore, of great interest to me as I have been trying to solve the jigsaw. I am trying to get as much information about the voyages he undertook which are wide and varied and also any information regarding his ancestors.

In my records I have my great, great grandfather, Peter George Ennis married to Frances Goodfellow and their sons were George Peter (my great grandfather) born 1850 and your ancestor Alfred, born 1856.  My grandfather Alfred Edwin Ennis was born 1880. Yes, please do message me your email address.
