Looking for my great grandfather james greenes family . Emmigrated in mid 1800,s to canada. Married elizabeth fleming . They returned to dungiven about 1870 and my grandfather william james greene was born there as was my grand aunt elizabeth . They returned to canada in mid 1870,s . James father was francis greene and mother was jane keown . Elizabeths father was john fleming and mother was sarah ross . As far as i know they lived and died in londonderry . Since they returned to dungiven in 1870,s , i assume they were from that area. They were prodestants . Any help will be appreciated. BILL

Hi there kingskerswell :D
Thanks for that information and i have passed it on but how did you get that information and is there any more about the two,is there anywhere you could get any more information online or would you have to travel to find it,the information actually surprised my friend but solved maybe why there's no information about Teresa Hughes around Dungiven but the dates look good.
Any other information would be brilliant from anyone who lives around Clogher District in Ballygawley who might know the Hughs family concerned, maybe she is buried there possibly.
But thanks for that information  anyway and it is a start ;)

Hi,
Sorry, I have nomore information. The marriage came from a subscription site which I have. It can also be found on the family search site https://www.familysearch.org/ which gives the registration district of Clogher and each name is recorded in Vol 3 Page 87 of the registrar's records.
