Hi again, yes that's him on dorset st. And all those children's names seem to match but there was a kathleen also,she is my direct link. I have her death cert but no birth/baptism cert yet, she was baptised in pro cathedral. All that info seems to be the Edward I'm looking for, thanks so so much for the help, I just couldn't find him anywhere myself!! Did you get names for children from 1st marriage?

sorry - I see Kathlene on the 1911 return - age 17

based on the other records, I think the ages are a little bit out though... so c1894

Yes, def pro cathedral. I got her marriage cert there and they gave me extra info on baptism as December 1894 in pro cathedral. Her name could have been registered as Catherine also. Her middle name was Elizabeth.

There is one Catherine that I can see in 1894 but the parents are wrong

There is also a Female CURTIS but the time of year was Apr-Jun 1894 which seems unlikely as children were baptised immediately in those days.

Once you have more information from the Pro-Catherdral you may be able to move on

I had a browse through all the December 1894 baptism images for St. Mary's RC - but didn't see any for Curtis.

Just looked up my info here, it's def pro cathedral in dec 1894 from what I have, name on marriage cert is Kathleen. I think I've found her on family pilot, it has her registered as Catherine Curtis, dub south, 1895, vol 2, page 579 but I have to get cert to see for sure.

Hi, been looking up census to try find children from first marriage of Edward Curtis and Sophia Loton but can't see them and they don't live with Edward's second family in 1901 or 1911. There's a few possibilities on family pilot but would mean they may have been adopted, is there any way of finding this out or is that info not accessible?
