The marriage is on the Suffolk Marriage Index and says Samuel was of the parish of Lamarsh at time of marriage

1861 says Samuel born in Colne Engaine.

St. Andrew, Colne Engaine

Samuel Edward, baptised August 3rd, 1800, son of Samuel Abrahams and Mary, his wife.

Also according to 1861 there is another Samuel with a wife Hannah also born CE. I couldn't see another Samuel baptism but it may be there as the pages are rather faint.

I have the same ancestors! (And have not got any further back). Not sure this site is still functioning but thought it worth posting to see if you get this. I am descended from Samuels son Henry b 1823/4 in Lamarsh and his son Henry b3.9.1849 in Chigwell.
