Many thanks Maggie......they are great. I'll send them off to my friend to see as well. hardest thing for us to do is to decide which one to use in our handout sheet for history week. We have three parts to each Reserve project.....a handout flyer, a new section for our Reserves book, and a power point presentation.....so we can use three different pictures.

GS, Trooper Stock was a good looking young man, and a most adventurous one. Sadly he died in his early 40s, leaving his wife with a large seaside guest house to run, and four young children to raise, with the eldest being just 4 years of age.
Just for interest, here's a photo of the guest house. The wife ran it most successfully for over 40 years after her husband died, and it was a centre of social life of the times in Victor Harbor, and attracted all sorts of prominent people to stay. There is another Reserve named after it, so we're doing a project on that too.
