Hi knockout1,
My software shows this as only 72ppi - if you were to scan again at at least 300ppi/dpi (and perhaps leave out the white border to save kb) you could expect better results...and it would be easier on the restorers' eyes  ;)

Agree with Prue higher resolution would improve a restore
GUIDE FOR PHOTO RESTORATIONS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SCANNER BED IS CLEAN AND SCAN AT A RESOLUTION OF 300-600 WITH THE SCALE AT 100% MINIMUM.

If you would like a coloured version, details such as hair colour , eyes and clothing etc.  if known  would be helpful to restorers
