Death entry 1878
« on: Sunday 15 April 12 15:08 BST (UK) »
In my search for Samuel Harding after 1871 Census,  no info found but there is a death entry on Freebmd of a Samuel Harding age 31 March Qtr 1878.Lincoln 7a 339.
Anyone have any knowledge or connection to this Samuel to count or discount him a member of my family.
My Samuel was born Chilton Polden, Somerset 1847 - Father Charles Harding - Mother Charlotte Harding.
1871 Census has him residing as a lodger at The Falcon Inn, Taunton, Somerset. Occupation - Timber Hewer.
Any help would be invaluable for my research to close a few gaps. Thanks, Syljun

Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Hi
There are many other records that could also be the death of Samuel, however Chilton Poden comes in the Bridgewater Area of Somerset, and there is Samuel Harding on the 1911 census of a similar age in the Hereford Union Workhouse classed as inmate occupation (previous) Labourer. The problem I have is when if this is him did he die. The options are 1919 Ashton Under Lyme, 1919 Greenwich or 1931Macclesfield, I dont think this helps a lot though
Edgecombe, Edgecumbe, all variants, West Country to London and all ports in between

Hi, Thanks for your reply. The Samuel Harding in workhouse turned out not to be the one I am looking for. Had to wait for reply from Workhouse so sorry for delay in replying. Still searching. Regards, syljun
