Thanks so much for your help guys,
Yes the Arima looks like the correct ship. I have found the articles about the Arima thanks Lu. Makes it so much easier to look up when you have the correct info!

I believe there were three James Lauders
1. Our James was a baker in the 1851 and 1861 Scotland Census
New Zealand, Electoral Rolls, 1853-1981
1880 -1881 Age: 46 Residence Mataura, Southland, New Zealand Baker, next on the roll to Archibald Lauder Tois Tois, who has a house on J Mcintosh's, husband of Catherine Lauder,
He was alive at his father death in 1899 but seems to disappear after that.
2. A tailor who I think might have been the James Lauder(Dunedin Electrol Roll) on the Storm Cloud, as the is no mention of a baker.
3. A Farmer, for who I have the death cert you mention in 1880, but his parents were Adam Lauder and Mary Laidlaw and Spouse Jane Wishman, Born Kelso(not our family)
Many thanks to all of you for taking the time to look into this for me your efforts are much appreciated.
Cheers
