Heriot Mount, Dumbiedykes road ??
« on: Wednesday 18 May 05 13:13 BST (UK) »
Does anyone remember this street - Heriot Mount in Edinburgh which was knocked down around 1960, Iam looking for any photographs or anyone that lived in that area, My dad was born there and brought up, at the end of the street is Heriot Mount Steps,  leading from Heriot Mount into Holyrood Park.  In the distance are Salisbury Crags on the western side of Arthur's Seat.
all that is left there now is the steps, which I believe are called Kings park steps
I have some photos on this site

I also have more on my msn space page

Hi everyone,
My grandmother, Elizabeth Robertson was born at 8 Heriot Mount on the 03/09/1899 and was one of six children to Thomas Robertson and Euphemia Robertson ms Dalgleish. I am trying to trace this side of my family.
