Talbot family search
« on: Saturday 14 April 12 09:08 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out about John Talbot and Elizabeth Darwell who lived at 5 conduit Mews, London in 1891. He was a coachman at the time.

They had 3 children at least Daisy Valentine, Harriet and William.

Any information about them would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thomas William Talbot (reversed as William Thomas Talbot) married on 26 December 1917 at St John, Ealing Dean to Bessie Eliza Holden, aged 24, daughter of Isaac Henry Holden (deceased).

He was 32 and a munitions worker living at 21 Balfour Road.

His father John was deceased by 1917.

1871 for Elizabeth Darvill to help with her age later? (RG10 1394 77 14) - "Waterside", Chesham

William Darvill, Head, 62,  Chair maker
Rebekah Darvill, Wife, 62, Chair maker's wife
Elizabeth Darvill, Daughter, 20, Brush Drawer

all born Chesham, Buckinghamshire.  There is a James Darvill next door that could be Elizabeth's brother.  Also a chair manufacturer

Thankyou all for your responses. We know that daisy went to stay at casswell cottage in Swansea. This was the home of John Dillwyn Llewelyn, who is linked to the infamous Henry Fox Talbot. Does anyone know what happened to Harriet and William.

We are trying to find out why at the age of 3 daisy went there, and what happened to the rest of the family. The 1891 census does not show John talbot ( the father) living at 5 conduit mews- so what has happened to him. Who was he a coachman for and how the link with talbot fox ?

Thankyou
