Another great site for Mounted troops (and others) is the DESERT COLUMN FORUM. Just Google it and you should find the link. Click on the Index Page and this will show a list of topics, Desert Column. Soldier Information etc.
The Desert column list will allow you to announce yourself and ask an introductory question.
