Hi Can you clarify some parts of your post please?

Quote
john j scarisbrick born 1878 has son called cecil marryed a yolanda
a carlotta c scarisbrick born 1880 came over to england she in the 1891 cenus 152 salisbury st

Do you mean that John married Yolanda and they had a son called Cecil?

Or - did son Cecil marry Yolanda

Quote
a carlotta c scarisbrick born 1880 came over to england

1891 shows Carlotta was born in Montevideo and was living with her uncle & aunt Robert Scarisbrick (1828 b Formby) and Isabella (b 1835 Liverpool)  in Liverpool

There was also Amelia 1882, Elizabeth J 1884, Mary S 1886 all surname Scarisbrick and all born Montevideo

You say that John J Scarisbrick was only born in 1878 so he cannot be the childrens father

Did the girls marry in England?  One of their marriage certs will give their fathers name

John was also born in Montevideo

Are you sure each of the girls stayed in England as there is nothing for Carlotta on the 1901 census under Scarisbrick

Did he marry in Uruguay or in England?

If he married in England then a copy of his marriage cert will give his fathers name

His marriage is on both freebmd and Cheshire BMD.  The marriage was at Seacombe, St Paul

You can either buy a copy of his marriage cert or if you live in the locality - you can look it up in the parish records at Cheshire Records office for free

www.freebmd.org.uk
www.cheshirebmd.org.uk

You can order a copy online at   www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

or you can order by post via the Registrars Office as follows

Find the entry on Cheshire BMD and click on the reference number to the right of the entry
On next page - click the ref number again and you can then print off the application form
