Not sure yet but it is mentioned in 1859 article-

Just wonder if it was where my Bannisters lived.

May have been just a local name but won't it be nice if there was a family connection!

I live in Derriaghy, have done most of my life, but I have not heard of Bannisters Hill.
There are a lot of local names, maybe called after the man who owned the hill way back.
Sorry I cannot help more.
