Hi, Stuart
I received your e-mail dated 9 April, thanks, if that's the one you're referring to.
Just to let anyone who is following this thread, or the Christian Belfrage one, know what's going on I'll reproduce a bit of what I wrote to you.
"I just found the following facts from the 1841 census for Strathmiglo North West, - Nether Urquhart, I think.
Richard Storrar , age 50, Proprietor, living with his wife Helen Young and their two children, Richard and David.
Alongside them in another property, same address are:-
Margaret Storrar, age 40, Independent and Mary Storrar, age 30, Independent.
Obviously they're his sisters who are living together and unmarried,
Unfortunately, the 1841 doesn't give marital status but I doubt that those times would have allowed Margaret to leave her husband and family. The social stigma would have been too great.
By the 1851 census Margaret had died, June 1845, and Mary died in August 1848.
So, to my mind, we're looking for another Margaret Storrar."
Pinning down the 'Margaret Storrar from Cash, Strathmiglo, died 1838' would solve it.
It's a bit of a bind having to chop a branch off, especially if you've done a lot of work on it. Sorry!

Thanks again too to NorrieG for his help.

Keep looking,
Jim
