Frederick WARD
« on: Friday 06 April 12 21:35 BST (UK) »
My Grandfather was called Frederick Ward Neale and was born in woodboy st, Leicester although on his birth cert this is no father mentioned there was a Frederick WARD living in the house on the electrol roll at the time of his birth in 1904.  (mother Rosannah NEALE).  Frederick doesnt seen to be on either the 1901 or 1911 census for this address.  Any ideas on how i can track him down or the likeliness of this chap being my grandfather's father?

The lodger Joseph Porter lived with Rosanna for many years - he is with her on the 1891 census too. Is there more to it than just a lodger?

Jay.

I was thinking of him for Fredericks borther Arthur who was a year older.  I ordered the birth cert for Arthur but when it came the information didnt match but interestingly there was a Arthur Porter Neale born in the same year.  Also in the baptism records both Frederick and Arthur had Elizabeth as the mothers name but same address.
