The 1871 for Susan Cowell clearly shows the parish of Redisham as her birthplace (the enumerator in 1871 has much neater writing too)

I compared several pages for the 1851 to see the enumerator's handwriting style. I would say it is definitely 'ham' not 'lam' following 'Redis'.
