Surname Donkin

I am researching our family name Donkin and at the moment have found two brothers Thomas born in 1830 and George born in 1831 in yorkshire probably in the West Riding or around Hull. I am in doubt as to what male line to follow as both of them had children William born in 1856, Ann born in 1857 they were brother and sister, Lettica 1863 and Thomas in 1866 were also brother and sister but I do not know who is the father of which pair of siblings. I will be grateful for any information at all regarding any Donkins anywhere in the world many thanks.

Wow that was quick! Many thanks Pauline I will try to find them here I am quite sure that this must be the right track as I have information on Mary dying in 1911. Thank you.

As per the last post and map from stanmapstone, which shows a large number of them in the North East, there has also been a search in the Northumberland section, and various posts re Donkin. Presumably there may be some in the Co. Durham section as well.
