You were known as Georgie when I knew you. I lived next door to you in the prefabs no 29. You played with my brother Christopher. You emigrated to Australia with your mum and dad. Mrs Welsh your grandmother continued living there. People started moving out in the early 60s and the  prefabs started to be pulled down. Everyone was split up as new property was built.

Just thought I would let you know I have been in contact with two of the Mumford girls
Who lived at No 25 that was also a big surprise. Also a lady who lived over the back of No 35
It’s a great feeling talking to people I knew when I was 8 years old living in the prefab
